From even before they’re born, until they’re grown, you promise to take the very best care of your child. Saint Francis Medical Center is your partner in keeping your child safe. Nearly 1,000 babies are born at Saint Francis Medical Center each year. We treat many infants and children in our emergency room, operating rooms and pediatrics department—many as the result of preventable injuries. We have a special interest in seeing children grow into healthy adults. Child Safety Seats Inspection Program The Child Safety program at Saint Francis Medical Center offers child safety seat inspections and safety education for any age of child. Whether a newborn, a toddler or a “big kid,” we can help you learn which type of car seat is best for your child and the type of vehicle you’re driving. We’ll teach to you install it correctly and buckle up your child securely. Our education isn’t only for parents. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, child care providers and anyone who is charged with safely transporting a child are welcome to make an appointment.
