About Us

The Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to function in coordination with and support of Saint Francis Medical Center whose mission is to encourage a healthy community through such activities as providing health education programs, informational services, and quality medical care without regard to race, religion, age, sex, or ability to pay.

The purpose of the Foundation is to seek, acquire and manage funds contributed from public and private sources to support those programs and projects determined to be in accord with the mission of the Medical Center and for the creation of healthy communities. Such programs or services may be administered by the Medical Center's own medical or administrative professionals or in collaboration with other community agencies of compatible purpose.

The goals of the Foundation will be accomplished through active voluntary leadership and professional staff guidance, with a commitment to a multi-tiered fund-development process in accordance with current legal regulations and accepted AFP* ethical standards.
